Overflow pallet space, with the terms on the table before you ask.

Tell us where, how many pallets and for how long. You get the sites that can take your goods, a price range, and the same standard terms to compare, instead of months of negotiating.

Contracted revenue on pallet space you already run.

Send us the stock report your warehouse system already produces. We'll show you which positions you could offer, and introduce you to companies that need pallet space for three months to three years.

Who it's for

  • Three months to three yearsNeed less than three months? Tell us: we want to hear about shorter needs too.
  • General goods, food and beverages, non-hazardous chemicalsHazardous (ADR), high-value and oversized goods only at sites that state they take them.

  • Shippers of any size, and 3PLsIncluding 3PLs that need overflow pallet space for their own customers.

Not offered: picking, fulfilment or transport. You arrange transport as you do now; we estimate it so you can compare the landed cost.

  • 3PLs and companies with their own warehousesWith pallet positions free between one contract and the next, in a site that is already racked and running.
  • Pallets, site by siteAmbient, chilled or frozen, offered warehouse by warehouse.

  • You decide what you takeGoods, pallet types, heights and weights, and the certificates you hold.

Not asked of you: picking, fulfilment or transport. You store the pallets; the shipper arranges transport. Not for empty buildings to let: only space inside running warehouses.

You decide who sees what, and when

Your volumes and your customers

Operators see what you need, never who you are. Your company name is shared only when you ask to be introduced to a site, and we never ask who your customers are.

Your occupancy and your rates

How full your warehouse is never appears anywhere. Shippers see a price range rather than your rate card, and your name stays hidden until you accept a request. We only ever read your export; nothing is written back to your system.

How a match comes together

Operators describe what they have, shippers describe what they need, and the two meet only when both want to.

The situations we're built for

Needing space

The spring range lands before the warehouse can take it

A food importer has a large delivery of chilled stock arriving at Rotterdam in February. Its own warehouse can't take it until May. It needs food-grade pallet space within an hour of the port, for three months, and a list of whole buildings to let doesn't help.

Three months of overflow, February to April

Having space

One contract ends in December, the next starts in June

A 3PL's customer in one hall moves out at the end of the year, and the next customer is signed from June. The racking, the staff and the system are all in place. Five months of someone else's overflow fits neatly in between.

Available January to May, under contract from June

Both are illustrations of common situations, not customers.

You'll be working with the founders

Capstell is in free testing. Nothing is listed yet, and nothing on the test platform is a real offer or contract. Everyone who registers now deals directly with the founding team, by email unless you would rather talk. We reply within two working days, run your search or look at your site with you, and give you access to the test platform.

Questions people ask us

Who do I sign the contract with?

The shipper and the operator sign with each other. Standard terms are laid out before either side commits, and any changes the operator makes are shown next to them.

What do we need before shippers see our space?

Your decision on each standard clause, your insurance cover with its limit, and a liability limit per pallet or per kg. For each warehouse: a storage rate for each temperature zone you offer, the goods you take, and the pallet types, heights and weights you accept.

We need space for less than three months. Is that worth asking?

Yes, tell us. Most contracts run from three months to three years, but we want to hear about shorter needs too.

Does it cost anything?

Not while we test, for either side. If Capstell charges later, you'll see the price before you commit to anything.

Can we see how it works before signing up?

Yes. Two short demos show the pilot from each side: the operator demo (2 min) and the shipper demo (under 2 min). Both open on YouTube.

Can we require a certificate, such as IFS or BRCGS?

Yes. Choose the certificates a site must hold. Only sites that hold each one, in date, are shown.

Our pallets are oversized or heavy. Will a site take them?

State the pallet type, the loaded height and the weight. Each site states what it takes, and only sites that fit are shown.

Can you store hazardous goods?

Only at sites that state they take hazardous goods (ADR). For such goods, only those sites are shown.

Do you offer customs or bonded storage?

Not as a filter yet. You can require a site with AEO certification; for bonded storage, tell us what you need.

We move pallets in and out every week. Is that covered?

Yes. State how many pallets come in and go out each week. Sites that cannot handle that flow are not shown, and the price includes handling at the site's rates.

We need a lot of space. What if no site is big enough?

Sites that cover at least half of your need are shown, with how much of it they cover. If that is not enough, tell us.

We are a 3PL. Can we use Capstell to find space?

Yes. You ask under your own company name, and we never ask who your customers are.

How soon can the space be ready?

You give your intake date, and each offer shows the date its pallet space is available from.

Do you handle transport or fulfilment?

Not today. Capstell matches pallet storage, and you arrange transport as you do now. Transport bundled with storage is part of where we're heading.

We run SAP (or Manhattan, or Blue Yonder). Do we have to change anything?

No. You keep the system you have. We read a stock or location export from it, and you confirm how each column is read. Nothing is ever written back.

What happens to the file we upload?

It's read in your browser and not stored. We keep only the counts we derive from it, such as positions by temperature class and by month. No customer names are needed.

Our IT and legal teams will ask about data. What do we share?

Nothing connects to your systems: you upload a stock export or type the figures in. The file is read in your browser; we keep only the counts it gives, never the file or its rows, and nothing is written back. What you save is stored in Frankfurt, Germany. If your IT or legal team needs a security review or an agreement before anything is shared, write to us first. You can test with example data in the meantime.

We are not a logistics company. Can we offer space?

Yes, if you may store other companies' goods: your articles of association must allow it, and your insurer must know. We ask you to confirm both.

Our space is seasonal, or in a building that opens later.

Each offer has a date it is available from and, if you wish, an end date. Only needs that fit inside those dates match it.

We run a bonded or customs warehouse.

Bonded storage is not a category yet. You can state an AEO certificate, which shippers can require; tell us about your bonded space.

Can we store pharmaceuticals?

Not yet. Pharmaceutical storage under GDP needs controls the test platform does not check, so it is out of scope for now.

We have an empty building to let. Is Capstell for us?

No. Capstell is for pallet space inside warehouses that are already racked, staffed and running. For a whole building, a property agent is the better route.

Will someone call me?

Only if you ask. We work by email. If you'd rather talk, tick the box in the optional second step and we'll suggest a time.
